oh friend, why are you so shy?

We all have those people that we keep in our life solely to make us feel better.  So we can look at their pictures or scrutinize their life and say "wow-glad I got out when I did" or "check me out--look where you could be"...If you say you dont then you lie.  Unfortunately we feel better about ourself watching others fail or watching others struggle while we sail along free and happy.

Well here is my appology to those that feel into that category for me...

Im sorry.

I appologize for spotlighting your faults so that my flaws were in the shadow.

I hope all your dreams eventually come true-as mine have.  

I have found my prince and you deserve yours as well.

Think back a year, 2 years, 5 years....or even 10 if it applies.  Where would you be now if you had taken the other path...Who would you be laying next to?  Who would be your friends?  Would you still have your kids?  Would you still be the person you are today.....no.  the answer is no.  there is no way to conclude to this outcome in life if we would of taken the different path when we faced that fork in the road.  What is important is that we did take that path and we did find each other.  And here we are almost five years later happier than anyone deserves and more in love than imaginable. 
 

As I approach a personal milestone I reflect on the choices I made 5 years ago that have lead me to where I am now.  They have lead me to love the bravest of princes.  And those choices have provided me with the greatest gift of all--my son.  My pride and joy.  

Remember when I made these statements earlier about how outsiders would look at your life: "wow-glad I got out when I did" or "check me out--look where you could be"...I am living proof of the latter of the two.  I have a love that people search their entire life for.  I have the life that makes people say "damn-I missed out on that!"
