Thats the thing about fire-

its hot!

and when you play with it, you might get burned.  And when you get burned I will say "you shouldn't of played with fire-told ya so!"

Too often the one that speaks the truth is considered a bad person..or rude..or abrasive as my husband likes to call me.  But I like to call it "what you see is what you get".  No mascarade party here!!

I talked to my husband tonight which is the best thing to happen in a couple days seeing as though I have been sick now for 48 hours--sucks being sick and trying to keep your son as far a way as possible. you know what doesnt suck though??  Having the best friends in the world that are willing and amazing enough to bring your child home from school, pick him up in the morning to take him back in, and offer to watch him while I recover....its amazing how a band of women with nothing but a deployed spouse in common can pull together so harmoniously yet others cant find a way to civilly function with people for longer than a few weeks.  That is why I am proud to be a military spouse because although we have some of the craziest women out there among us we also have some of the bravest, strongest, and most selfless people ever among our silent ranks.

 

the silent ranks--one of the few non rank specific or branch naming communities...built by and supported by the military's finest.  So when you get the urge to slap that girl that cant quit bitching and moaning about how awful her life is and how army/military wives SUCK you have my permission to punch her square in her box.
